The company promises that the next Forward in September will be accompanied by a message 'sharing the status of Ubisoft's commitment to improving the culture, comfort and safety of Ubisoft employees and community. Select streamers are being given access to the beta early.

Beta Ubisoft is taking a similar approach to Riot's FPS title Valorant in their beta. The teaser website for the title is now live Check it out here. The first Forward showcase, held earlier this month, sidestepped the allegations of abuse, harassment, and assault leveled against several prominent Ubisoft employees in recent weeks. Release Date The game is rumoured to release on the 12th July on PC with a console release arriving later this summer. It's likely that we'll also see more on Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Far Cry 6 at the show. Once Hyper Scape is officially out there, we'll probably hear more about any future big updates planned for Season 1 or beyond at the next Ubisoft Forward. As USgamer's Reviews Editor Mike Williams said in his early impressions of Hyper Scape, the battle royale space is plenty crowded and a handful of good design choices won't necessarily peel players away from the likes of Fortnite, Apex, Warzone, or even good ol' PUBG. PC players were able to get their hands on it first though, through a special open beta.

Together, Hyper Scape's various hacks, its emphasis on urban verticality, and streamlined looting do give it something of a unique identity, but this full launch and move to consoles will be a big test of its longevity.
